Die Wacken-Sensation spielt ihre erste eigene Headliner-Tour. METAKLAPA sind schon jetzt ein Stück Wacken-Geschichte: Ihr erster öffentlicher Auftritt überhaupt führte sie 2022 in die Wacken Church und auf die Wackinger Stage.  

Es wurde ein sensationeller Erfolg. Die sechs Sänger aus Kroatien stehen für hochklassigen polyphonen A-Capella-Gesang mit einzigartig arrangierten Melodien und DEN Texten einer der größten Metalbands aller Zeiten: IRON MAIDEN. Nie zuvor wurden deren Songs derart innovativ und anspruchsvoll interpretiert. 

Der Name METAKLAPA ist Programm: Klapa ist eine Form dalmatinischen A-Capella-Gesangs, die zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe gehört. Durch die Fusion mit einer echten Weltkultur – dem Heavy Metal von IRON MAIDEN – wird diese Tradition in ein neues, internationales Gewand gekleidet.

These vocal miracles are already a piece of Wacken history: Their first ever public performance took Metaklapa to Wacken Church and the Wackinger Stage in 2022. It was a spectacular success. The six vocalists from Croatia stand for high-class polyphonic a cappella singing with uniquely arranged melodies and lyrics from one of the greatest metal bands of all time: Iron Maiden. Never before have their songs been interpreted in such an innovative and sophisticated way.  

The name Metaklapa says it all: Klapa is a form of Dalmatian a cappella singing that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Through the fusion with the metal genre, this tradition is clothed in a completely new, international guise and thus made accessible to a wide audience.   

The exceptional Croatian singers will be presenting this top-class concert experience in three special, atmospheric concert halls at the beginning of 2025. With their „The Choir of Beasts Tour 2025“, Metaklapa are embarking on their first headlining tour, on which they will present the masterpieces from their debut album „The Choir of Beasts“, released in January 2022.   

Lots of metal, a bit of gothic and guaranteed headbanging moments: The tour is not only a highlight for fans of choral singing and vocal ensembles, it is also a must for all metalheads.
