Erste Schritte

Die Modern Symphonic Metal-Band veröffentlichte ihr Debütalbum “Enlighten” über das schwedische Label Ulterium Records im Jahr 2013. Direkt danach begleiteten sie ihre Labelkollegen Theocracy [US] als Support-Act auf deren Europatournee. Seitdem ist die Band ausgiebig getourt und hat Konzerte und Festivalauftritte (u.a. Brainstorm Festival (NL), FemME (NL), Christmas Rock Night (D) uva.) auf dem ganzen europäischen Kontinent gespielt.

Dezember 2014 veröffentlichte die Band die Single “Fire & Ice” zu dem auch ein Videoclip gedreht wurde, dann in 2015 unterschrieb die Band bei Napalm Records und veröffentliche dort im November 2017 ihr zweites Album “Alba”. Im Februar 2018 gingen SLEEPING ROMANCE zusammen mit Serenity und Visions of Atlantis auf gemeinsame “Symphonic Metal Nights”-Tour durch ganz Europa, anschließend zu dieser Tour folgten noch viele weitere solo und support Konzerte.

Im Laufe des Jahres 2018 stießen Mattia Todescato und Marco Cilloni als Gitarrist und Bassist zu SLEEPING ROMANCE und sind bis dato offizielle Mitglieder der Band.

Kapitel 3: We Are All Shadows

In 2020 wurde ein weitetes Kapitel in der Geschichte von SLEEPING ROMANCE aufgeschlagen – die Band rund um Mastermind Federico Truzzi stellt einmal mehr unter Beweis, dass sie es verstehen klassische Klänge mit melodischen Death-Metal-Riffs und mehr progressiven Sounds zu einem unvergleichlichen Gesamtkunstwerk zu vereinen. Voller Wucht, schwerer denn je und doch getragen von edler theatralischer Extravaganz. Mit der Übernahme des Leadgesangs durch die Powerfrau Lina Victoria schlagen Sleeping Romance ein neues Kapitel in der Bandgeschichte auf und lassen uns mit ihren neuen album “We All Are Shadows” noch tiefer in die dunklen Seiten der menschlichen Natur eintauchen.

First steps

The Modern Symphonic Metal band released their debut album “Enlighten” through the Swedish label Ulterium Records in 2013. Directly after, they joined their label mates Theocracy [US] as support act on their European tour. Since then, the band have toured quite extensively in Europe, playing mini tours and one-off festival shows around the continent, including Brainstorm Festival and FemME in the Netherlands, Christmas Rock Night in Germany and many others.

December 2014 the band released a new single entitled “Fire & Ice” together with a music video following in 2015 the band signed with Napalm Records, and the band’s second album “Alba” was released in November 2017. Afterwards in February 2018 the band will join label mates Serenity and Visions of Atlantis on the “Symphonic Metal Nights” tour in Europe and more touring will follow later in 2018 when Mattia Todescato and Marco Cilloni joined the band as rhythmic guitar player and bass player and today they are official members of the band.

Chapter 3: We Are All Shadows:

A new chapter in the history of SLEEPING ROMANCE began in 2020 – the band lead by Federico Truzzi, displays true mastery by fusing blood-curling classical sounds with melodic death metal riffs and more progressive sounds. Full of force, heavier than ever and yet sustained by noble theatrical flamboyance and with the power woman Lina Victoria taking over the lead voice, Sleeping Romance take us into a new chapter of the band’s history with their new album “We All Are Shadows” submerging us into the deepest shades of the human nature.
